Northeast India Union

Northeast India Union was organized in 1984 with its headquarter in Shillong, Meghalaya. Its first constituency meeting was held in Shillong on February 15-18, 1984.

Northeast India Union facilitates the work of the Seventh-day Adventists Church throughout the seven states in the Northeast India. 

Divided into seven administrative Units, we have 3 local conferences, one local section [Mission]; and four local regions as follows:

Churches

There are 241 organized churches and 368 companies with a membership of 59,594 as of August 2025.  With a work force of 906 workers.

University

It had one University, namely Northeast Adventist University at Thadlaskein, Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya.

Ministries

Ministerial, Women Ministries, Children Ministries, Youth Ministries, Sabbath school Ministries, Publishing Ministries, Stewardship Ministries, Public Campus Ministry etc.

Community

Community Service by young people. Religious Liberty issues, health care and property land holding, trust and Wills and many more.
