Seventh-day Adventist Church in Northeast India Union:

Northeast India Union was organized in 1984 with its headquarter in Shillong, Meghalaya.  Its first constituency meeting was held in Shillong on February 15-18, 1984.

Northeast India Union facilitates the work of the Seventh-day Adventists Church throughout the seven states in the Northeast India. 

 

Divided into seven administrative Units, we have 3 local conferences, one local section [Mission]; and four local regions as follows:

The Union support and provided services and resources for:

 

Churches: There are 228 organized churches and 340 companies with a membership of 458093 as of May 2023.  With a work force of 906 workers.

 

University: It had one University, namely Northeast Adventist University at Thadlaskein, Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya.

 

Ministries: Ministerial, Women Ministries, Children Ministries, Youth Ministries, Sabbath school Ministries, Publishing Ministries, Stewardship Ministries, Public Campus Ministry etc.

 

Community: Community Service by young people. Religious Liberty issues, health care and property land holding, trust and Wills and many more.
